About Midtown Inspections

Hi, I’m Chris Clendenin, the owner and sole inspector for Midtown Inspections, LLC.  I founded Midtown Inspections in 2019 as I was transitioning from working as a Paramedic.  Since then, I’ve personally inspected over 500 homes in the Tulsa area.

I have lived in Tulsa most of my life and have a passion for this amazing city.  I grew up and currently live in Midtown Tulsa (hence the name) and attended Booker T Washington High school before moving to Stillwater to attend Oklahoma State University.  After OSU, I moved out of Oklahoma and lived in North Carolina, Oregon, Philadelphia, and even spent two years in Fiji as a Peace Corps Volunteer.  Returning home to Tulsa in 2015 was one of the best decisions of my life.  I served the Tulsa area as a Paramedic for EMSA and started inspecting homes as a “side-gig”.  Home inspection quickly took over my interest and since then I’ve been helping people like you purchase with confidence.

To provide the very best inspection for you, I’ve invested in the right tools, software, and education to perform the inspection well.  I use Spectora inspection software to write a comprehensive, easy-to-read, and professional inspection report.  I use industry-leading tools, such as a Flir thermal imager, Protimeter Surveymaster moisture meter, and Fluke electrical equipment.  I attended the American Home Inspector Training course to earn my inspector license and I’m an active member of InterNACHI, the world’s leading association for home inspectors where I’ve been credentialed as a Certified Professional Inspector.  This is also the association that provides all my continuing education courses.  The tools, software, and professional associations are not cheap, but they pay off in huge dividends to provide you the very best and complete inspection possible.
